Finally

I believe I have entered the “fun” stage of parenting.  Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not that the previous six months weren’t fun.  They were.  But we’ve entered the realm of a different kind of fun.  The kind of fun that cracks you up on a daily basis.  Belly laugh kind of fun.  He does stuff that is just…goofy.  Yesterday I caught him on the tile floor of the kitchen, under a chair, gnawing on the cross bar.  His body was splayed behind him like he was being drug around behind an airplane as he kicked his feet in delight.  I’m excited because I’m pretty sure it’ll only get better from here.

We’re still not sleeping all the way through the night, though things are better.  He’s happy as a clam most all the time, babbling speaking dinosaur like a pro, and getting where he needs to go via rolling.

So, seeing as how my life is a series of non-sequitors lately, I thought this might be more appropriate.  I’ll still check in here when I have more profound things to say.  I don’t really fancy myself much of a [mommy] blogger anyway.
