I’m a total science nerd that loves to read. I’m pretty type-A, but I don’t like to admit it. I also love dogs (especially rescue dogs), College football, and Midwestern springtime weather. I think vinegar should have its own food group. The radio in my car is always set to an even number, and I eat M&Ms in twos.
This is me and my hubz and our 4 year old Weim Buddy:

We also have a 5 year old Weim named Bella, but she doesn’t sit still long enough for a good picture. This is her, always on the move. She acts like I imagine a skydiver would moments after they jump out of the plane; her brain does not stop.

My undergraduate degree is in Astronomy, so I’d be happy to talk shop with anyone curious about space physics. Just don’t ask me what star is what. There are billions, friends. I can’t possibly keep track of them all!
Like a lot of folks, I struggle with my weight. It’s a daily battle to make healthy choices. As I navigate my new marriage and life in the corporate world, I am striving for balance as best I can. Every day I learn something new about myself.
I have a book review blog — Stack of Spines. Check there if you are interested in reviews or recommendations.
I love vinegar too, so sometimes I ramble on about that. And sometimes I cook, but not too often. If vinegar or pasta is involved, I’m much more likely to be interested. Mostly, this blog is an outlet for my daily life and how I’m trying to strike a much-needed balance.
